Curvy Widow' covers scant new ground by Robert Hurwitt
About the best that can be said for the "Widow" that opened Sunday at Post Street Theatre is that it isn't the train wreck it's widely reported to have been when it premiered in Atlanta in November. But that merely robs the show of the nasty pleasure of watching a theatrical disaster unfold, which - apart from the chance to bask in the glow of Shepherd's personality - may have been all it had to offer.
