Even though James Thiérée tackles some pretty intense themes and emotions in "Au Revoir Parapluie" - such as life, love, death, and grief - there's little sadness or angst-ridden drama to be found here. Instead, in his dreamlike creation - a mixture of theatre, dance, and circus - merry whimsicality pervades.
