Relating one's family history on stage is a tricky business. If not balanced properly, the material can become trifling, maudlin, or simply uninvolving. Bryon Yee avoids such pitfalls in his equally amusing and emotional one-man show about his journey to discover something about his family's history and his Chinese heritage.
