If Philip Seymour Hoffman and love stories feel like deeply incompatible systems, you have some hint of the unpredictable delights of "Jack Goes Boating," the original and almost shockingly sweet romantic comedy that the LAByrinth Theater Company opened last night at the Public Theater.
