Director Lorton's 'take' is a decidedly starker, 'anything can happen at any time' atmosphere best described as part musical/part burlesque; for those of you already familiar with this musical, it's fairly safe to say you've NEVER seen it done quite this way, but it still works (and is highly enjoyable at that!)
