'Blood Wedding' at Wilma: Thrilling, brutalizing tragedy of passion and fate
Brilliant, inventive, athletic, musical, "Blood Wedding" by Federico Garcia Lorca is at the Wilma Theater through Nov. 19. The famed Spanish poet's brilliant tragedy gets a real do-over, thanks to the Wilma Hothouse crew and director Csaba Horvath, whose vocabulary of movement, gesture, and dance reveals the agonized cross-purposes of the fated characters. One of the best productions I've seen this year.
