Hartford Public Library shifts from sanctuary to outreach amid coronavirus crisis
It's hard to be seen as a shelter, a sanctuary, or a temple of knowledge when your doors are closed. But Hartford Public Library, its buildings shut since March 13, has taken to the air and to the streets, continuing its core mission of education, enlightenment and community building amid the coronavirus crisis.
