First told on The Moth, 'Love and Spumoni' a real-life Waterbury love story by Jacques Lamarre, premieres at Seven Angels Theatre
"Love and Spumoni," a romance set in Waterbury, is having its world premiere at that city's Seven Angels Theater through Feb. 23. The script by Hartford-area playwright Jacques Lamarre is based on the life of Mary Lou Piland, who told a version of this story on "The Moth," then turned it into a novel.
