Ian McKellen and Trudie Styler will play Peter and Isobel, respectively, in a staged reading of Thomas Kilry's Irish version of Chekhov's The Seagull at the St. James Theatre in London June 1. It is being staged as a benefit to help fund the work of Out of Joint, the U.K.'s leading touring theatre company for new writing, and will be directed by Out of Joint's artistic director Max Stafford-Clark.
