Fresh new theater at the Philly arts festivals by Myra Yellin Outwater

In 2007 the Elevator Repair Service, an avant garde New York theater company, premiered "Gatz," a six-hour reading of F. Scott Fitzgerald's " The Great Gatsby" at the Philly Fringe Festival. "Gatz" was such a success that it toured Europe, opened at the ART Theatre in Cambridge and had a sold-out run at New York's Public Theatre in 2010.
