Pegi Deitz Shea's poetry offers a glimpse of life in a Thai refugee camp, of Bangkok bar girls, the privilege of a white child and a forest in Connecticut. Poet laureate for the town of Vernon, she teaches Creative Writing at the University of Connecticut and directs Poetry Rocks.
