[ JN ] Rude awakening from 'Bombay Dreams' by JACQUES LE SOURD In the end, this musical may be less faithful to the traditions of Bollywood than it is to the relentlessly tasteless and overblown British musical imports of the mid-1980s. He has presence playing someone besides his own formidable self. He projects. He allows himself to show a touching vulnerability as a man trapped in black America and infantalized by the mother who loves him. [ FOX ] Fox411 by Roger Friedman P. Diddy Takes Broadway Like the N.Y. Marathon I think Puffy has nothing to be embarrassed about in his Broadway debut. It's obvious that if he chose this profession he could make lots of progress. But I don't think that's what this is about. Combs is a PR bungee jumper. He's willing to take risks just to show he can survive them. There's been far worse stunt casting on Broadway over the years.
