Saturday, November 15, 2003 [ YN ] Tony-Winning Actress Loudon Dies at 70 by LARRY McSHANE Broadway star Dorothy Loudon, winner of the 1977 Tony Award for her portrayal of the mean-spirited orphanage manager in "Annie," died Saturday at a New York hospital. She was 70. Loudon, who lived in New York, had been battling cancer, said her manager and longtime friend, Lionel Larner. In fact, much of George's score -- plenty of new songs plus "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" and "Karma Chameleon" -- has the sensitively outrageous lyrics and bouncy sweetness of his iconic hits.
