The project, called the American National Theater, has gained the support of Arthur Miller, Meryl Streep and the director Harold Prince, among other prominent people in the theater world. The actress Blair Brown is giving a cocktail party in Connecticut tomorrow to raise seed money for the project. [ NYT ] A Star's Real Life Upstages His Films by BERNARD WEINRAUB Over the past 20 years Tab Hunter, whose blond, Malibu beach boy looks made him one of the biggest screen idols of the 1950's, has had a heart attack, a quadruple bypass and a stroke.
