Saturday, March 23, 2002 THEATER REVIEW | 'GOLDEN BOY' A Dated Musical Whose Music Is Never Out of Date By BEN BRANTLEY Precious things lose their luster fast in "Golden Boy," the 1964 musical inspired by Clifford Odets's hit drama of 1937. Here's to You, the New Robinsons (Mrs. and Miss) Time for Boxing Revival "Golden Boy," the 1964 musical based on Clifford Odets' Depression play, is one of those Broadway curiosities that are perfect for the City Center Encores! series.
