In musical theatre, there is always the 11 O'Clock number. In honor of BroadwayNow.com/BuyBroadway.com/Theatre.com/BroadwayOnline's swan song, we bring you this:

It's over
Oh, it was over
Too much,
too little,
too late
to ever try again
Too much,
too little,
too late,
let's end it being friends
Too much,
too little,
too late,
we knew it had to end

IN A ROUNDABOUT WAY, GOD'S ON HIS SIDE By MICHAEL RIEDEL
KEVIN Bacon is in negotiations to star in "An Almost Holy Picture," Heather McDonald's one-character play about an ex-clergyman's struggle with God, opening in February at American Airlines Theater.

B'way boards stay full
B.O. for the past two weeks has been down about 10% from 2000
One out of nine is not bad: Broadway certainly has seen higher cancellation rates this far into its fall season. Andrew Lloyd Webber's "By Jeeves" had its brief moment of indecision, but only the Roundabout's production of the Stephen Sondheim-John Weidman musical "Assassins," scheduled to open Nov. 29, was abandoned in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks.

Sebastian Bach back on Broadway? Wasn't once enough of a Horror? If they were looking for a rock and roll kind of guy, how about Danny Zolli? Sure he is not a rock star like Sebastian, but will Sebastian sell Broadway tickets? Did he for J&H? Did Joan Jett for Rocky? I don't think so. And also to note, Danny's solo CD is now out. It is available at... ugh... Colony Records. Marty is probably charging $30 for it. I am not going to link to Colony. If you want to find their website, you can. Such a shame that they rip off the Broadway community like they do.

There is a new radio station on the earth... for the first time, the US will have access to a 24-hour a day, 7-day a week, commercial free channel of Broadway music. XMRadio was first pointed out to me by V.J. at Talkin'Broadway back in March. At the time they were looking at staffing up and planning for their launch. They planned to launch their service in Dallas and San Diego on Wednesday, Sept 12. But even if you do not live in those markets, you can get to it by going to their website at www.XMRadio.com and click on the "programming" icon -- then click the "full channel listing" link and scroll down to Channel 28. There is a 3 hour stream with some pretty good songs on it.
