I was driving yesterday when I heard a story on 1010 WINS (radio) that the producers at the Crown and Anchor in Provincetown, MA have been fined because their production of Naked Boys Singing is in violation of an "Adult Entertainment" ordinance there. As Naked Boys Singing approaches their third anniversary off-Broadway, even NYC Mayor Giulliani has not even taken on this popular show as being indecent, infact, pointing out in a statement that it is "art". The show which has played around the world has not had this problem before. It is unfortunate that such a liberal town as Provincetown has thrown the Constitution out the window.
