Jeff Lams, who is one of Broadway's Musical Directors (The Civil War, Kat and the Kings) has found out how big the heart of Broadway is. Jeff's daughter, Aria, is seven years old and has been battling leukemia since she was 3 1/2. She underwent bone marrow transplant last spring which was not successful. She is undergoing another one and to help pay for the operation, the Broadway community, lead by Jason Howland and Dani Davis of Half-Pint Productions, has rallied to help out the Lams family by producing a recording where ALL the revenue will go directly to the Lams family. David Alan Basche: Snakebit star, and fellow upper west sider, has a new series, Three Sisters, on NBC. Can't wait for this one. NBC is luring me back into TV with their new shows like Ed, The West Wing and this. Makes you wonder if "Kristin" will eventually fit into their schedule.

Other "not good signs" for Kristin (Chenoweth) is regarding her CD, which was suppose to be released on January 9th under the Sony Classical label. There has been no promotion regarding it and according to Kerr Lockhart on the CASTRECL mailing list, her bio was deleted from the Sony website. Perhaps they are waiting for definite word with her show for a date to release it concurrently.
