This year's Easter Bonnet competition was filled with delights, from a hilarious opening number with Rory O'Malley as an ambitious actor and Michael Riedel as Satan, to the roof-raising finale in which Bryan Cranston, Fran Drescher, and Denzel Washington took the stage to announce that the New York theater community had raised $4,532,129 this spring to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. There were also appearances by such notables as James Franco, Chris O'Dowd, and Leighton Meester from the Of Mice and Men cast.
